Congratulations to Dr. Phan Thanh, Attorney, on his official appointment to the Board of Directors of the Canadian Immigration Lawyers Federation (CILA) effective September 2025.
We are delighted to share the good news: Dr. Phan Thanh, a highly experienced immigration law expert, will officially become a Board of Directors of the Canadian Immigration Lawyers Association (CILA) starting in mid-September 2025. The Board of Directors is the highest governing body of the Canadian Immigration Lawyers Association.
This is a significant milestone in his career and a great source of pride for the Vietnamese community in Canada, as he is the first Vietnamese person to serve on the leadership board of this prestigious professional organization.
As a member of the CILA Board of Directors, Dr. Phan Thanh, a lawyer, will not only contribute to the development of the Canadian immigration lawyer community but also bring the voice of the Vietnamese community closer to immigration policies, contributing to building a fairer, more transparent, and humane immigration system.
