Australian visa eligibility consultation process

To assess a client's eligibility for an Australian visa, we follow this process:

  1. Informational Meeting (15-20 minutes): This is an opportunity for us to learn more about your case, provide you with an overview of the visa application process, and answer any initial questions you may have.

  2. Initial consultation with an Australian lawyer (fee applies): Following the initial informational meeting, we will conduct a more detailed consultation with an Australian lawyer (fee applies) to analyze your specific case, determine which visa type you may be eligible for, and create an action plan for your visa application process.

  3. Formal Commitment Regarding Your Specific Issue: Once you have decided to proceed with our services, we will make a formal commitment regarding your specific issue. This means we will support you throughout the entire visa application process, from completing your application to receiving the final decision from the visa-issuing authority.

We will also provide you with an overall cost estimate for this process. We are confident that by working with us, you will receive the most professional service, information, and dedicated support.

Information session (15-20 minutes)

The introductory meeting does not provide in-depth advice on a client's visa options. It is an opportunity for us to better understand the prospective client's situation and the type of migration assistance they require. It is also an opportunity for prospective clients to learn more about our company and our team of Australian lawyers, our expertise, and whether we are a good fit for their needs.

During this meeting, I will discuss the client's basic situation, provide an overview of the visa application process, and answer any initial questions the client may have. Importantly, this meeting is not intended to provide detailed advice or specific analysis of the client's particular case. That will be covered in a later, paid consultation.

Initial consultations with Australian lawyers are subject to a fee.
Eligibility assessment

If you require personalized advice, we recommend proceeding with a paid consultation so that a lawyer can formally assess your eligibility and pathway to permanent residency.

A consultation includes:

  1. One-hour consultation via phone or video conferencing.
  2. A thorough assessment of your eligibility and in-depth discussion of your potential visa options and migration pathways;
  3. Review the key documents;
  4. A written summary of the discussions will be provided (within 1-2 days of the consultation).
  5. A follow-up email, if you have further questions; and
  6. Detailed pricing for our services and next steps.

Please see this link for the consultation fee.

As you may understand, Australian immigration law is complex and requires a significant amount of time to explain options to clients, discuss steps/processes, and provide our legal advice/response. We estimate that an initial consultation typically takes 2-4 hours of our time. Furthermore, as part of our professional legal obligations, we require formal commitment (a service contract signed and payment for our services received) before we can provide legal advice and support.
