- To reunite with a Canadian citizen or permanent resident:
- couple,
- partner,
- dependent child,
- grandchild, child of a dependent
- biological parents or stepparents
- guardian
- Reunify with foreign nationals temporarily residing in Canada as:
- couple,
- partner,
- dependent child,
- biological parents or stepparents
- guardian
- To reunite with a Canadian citizen or permanent resident:
- The child is independent.
- grandchild, child of an independent child
- siblings
- step-siblings
- grandparents
- Travel for work purposes (meetings, events, training)
