The Skilled Worker Stream is part of the BC Provincial Nominee Program's Skills Immigration program (BC PNP), designed for skilled workers with experience and qualifications that meet the labor market needs of British Columbia.
Successful nominees may apply for Canadian permanent residency.
Conditions and requirements
- Job offer: The occupation must fall under NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3.
- Employment: I have a full-time, indefinite (no end date) job offer from a valid employer in BC.
- Employer support: Employer support is required before registration and submission of the completed Employer Declaration Form.
- Professional qualifications: Meeting the minimum requirements of the profession (licenses, registrations, professional certifications, professional membership, etc.)
- Work experience: Minimum 2 years of equivalent full-time work experience.
- Education: Meet the minimum educational requirements for the profession (certificate, diploma, or university degree).
- Language: Minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4
- Salary: Meets minimum salary and income requirements.
Note
The Skilled Worker stream includes an Express Entry BC (EEBC) option for candidates already in the federal Express Entry system who meet the program's criteria.

The BC PNP periodically invites applicants from its registration pool to submit applications. Selected applicants are those deemed most likely to meet the economic and labour market needs of British Columbia, based on the information provided in their applications.
Invitations to Apply (ITAs) are sent to applicants under Skills Immigration and Entrepreneur Immigration.

- Occupation: NOC TEER 0 or 1
- 47 candidates were invited.
- 08/05/2025: Minimum score 150 (47 candidates)
Inferred from the invitation data:
- The candidate has a very high salary, is currently working at BC, and has a job offer in the highly skilled NOC category, which BC PNP considers to have a significant economic impact.
- Candidates who don't meet the very high salary threshold may still be offered a position if their application score is high enough.
