Key features:

The 1G stamp indicates that you have completed your studies in Ireland and are permitted to seek employment here under the Third Level Graduate Programme , subject to certain conditions.

The 1G stamp is only issued for 12 months, except for those who have completed a master's program, in which case an additional 12 months may be granted, subject to conditions.

Summary of employment conditions for graduates:

You can work full-time as required by labor laws, but you are not allowed to run a business or be self-employed. If you wish to continue working after your 1G stamp expires, you need to find a job that requires a work permit and then follow the normal application process with the Ministry of Enterprises, Trade and Employment.

While holding a 1G stamp, your other benefits and conditions remain the same as with a 2G stamp.

Internships are a method of combining classroom-based education with practical work experience. Internship experiences vary depending on the school and program, and can provide academic credit for structured work experience. Internship positions are full-time, paid, or unpaid. Internships can be full-time or part-time, paid or unpaid.

Accommodation:

Students need to plan their accommodation in advance, as all housing options are usually fully booked before the semester begins.

Accommodation in school dormitories is provided at the discretion of the school.

Accommodation Outside the Campus: The surrounding area offers a variety of off-campus housing options including detached houses, townhouses, apartments, and rooms for rent. Students wishing to live off-campus should research availability themselves and should arrive before the semester begins to do so.

Cost of living: €7,000.00 per year
