- Have sufficient resources and a genuine intention to settle in PEI.
EOI, Selection, and Fees
An EOI is not an application for nomination and does not guarantee an invitation. EOIs are valid for 6 months. As of November 1, 2025, candidates who receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) have 30 days to submit a complete application. PEI currently selects based on federal allocation, application volume, and labor market needs; priority is given to high-demand sectors such as healthcare, trades, childcare, and critical labor shortages. Sales and service candidates may not receive an ITA at this time.
There is no fee to create an EOI. If invited to submit a Workforce application, the provincial fee is 300 CAD and is non-refundable.
