Construction Internship Recruitment – Northern Ontario

Location: Job sites in Northern Ontario, Canada. Specific site addresses will be confirmed upon internship placement. Candidates must be able to commute to the work sites.

Format: Construction field placement with appropriate guidance and supervision. Paid internships may be arranged through the company's payroll system, subject to final confirmation of school requirements, insurance, and company procedures. Specific salary levels have not yet been confirmed.

Expected Duties

• Provide carpentry assistance and perform basic carpentry tasks.
• Assist with framing and drywall installation.
• Assist with painting, surface preparation, and material handling.
• Perform demolition preparation and site cleanup/organization.
• Assist with other residential and commercial renovation tasks as assigned, consistent with skill level and safety requirements.

Suitable Candidates

• Students in Carpentry, Renovation Technician, Construction, or related fields in need of a field placement.
• Able to complete at least 50 hours if required by the school; actual duration will be agreed upon.
• Able to commute or arrange transportation to job sites in Northern Ontario.
• Adhere to workplace safety regulations, supervisor instructions, and school internship policies.

Prerequisites for Starting

Positions will only proceed after confirmation of the internship schedule, location, tasks, workplace insurance, necessary administrative registrations, and school approval. Internship hours are only recognized if they meet school regulations. If the internship is paid, contracts or payroll documentation will be prepared as required.
