Newfoundland and Labrador Immigration – NLPNP
The Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) currently has 5 main categories: Express Entry Skilled Worker, Skilled Worker, International Graduate, International Entrepreneur, and International Graduate Entrepreneur.
Update on October 6, 2026: Worker/graduate applications now begin with an Expression of Interest (EOI) on the Immigration Accelerator Portal. Once invited, the deadline to submit a full application has been temporarily reduced from 60 days to 30 days to assist with processing for the current year.
The Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) also applies to Newfoundland and Labrador, but it is a federal-Atlantic program, not a category of the NLPNP, so it is presented separately.
Meeting the minimum requirements, having a job offer, or submitting an EOI does not guarantee an ITA, nomination, or PR. The IRCC makes the final decision regarding permanent residency.
