Success Story | Work Permit – From a refused application to receiving a Canada visa
The journey to obtaining a Canadian visa is not always smooth. Sometimes, even if you have meticulously prepared everything, there are still obstacles in your way. However, as the story of one of our clients has proven, with perseverance and the right support, any difficulty can be overcome.
In June 2023, a client came to KeyApply after her application, handled by another agency, had been refused a work visa despite having an LMIA sponsored by a nail salon. A professional nail technician with many years of experience and an IELTS score of 4.5, she faced rejection reasons that were quite difficult to prove:
- No solid ties to home country: Visa officers believed she did not have strong enough reasons to return after her work period in Canada ended.
- Many close relatives in Canada: This led them to suspect she might remain in Canada after her visa expired.
- Purpose inconsistent with declared profile: There was some unreasonable and conflicting information in her application.
- Limited job prospects if returning to Vietnam: They were concerned that she would not have good employment opportunities upon her return.
Her previous representative had tried to explain and write a reconsideration letter, but could not change the decision. Facing this situation, she reached out to KeyApply. We invited a leading Canadian immigration lawyer to discuss her case.
Our lawyer, with extensive experience and sharp expertise, helped the client prepare a new application, providing strong arguments and clear explanations for each of the previous refusal reasons. Additionally, the lawyer provided examples and evidence from similar cases in judicial precedents.
Conflicting information in the previously submitted application: One of the serious errors was the entry of information that caused contradictions and inconsistencies in her previous work permit application. This created suspicion from visa officers. However, our lawyer quickly identified and corrected those inconsistencies for the client, making the application much more robust and persuasive.
And finally, after 2 months, the client received the good news: she had been approved for a work visa in Canada!
This proves that even if you face difficulties or failure, there is still hope. With support from a good representative, you can completely turn the situation around and make your Canadian dream a reality.
