Below is a brief questionnaire to advise principal applicants for Canadian investment and entrepreneur programs.

- Do you have an English or French language certificate? (IELTS/CELPIP/TEF/TCF…). If so, what is your current score and when was the exam? If you don't have a certificate, how would you rate your listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills? (basic/intermediate/good/excellent)
- What is your current (estimated) net worth in CAD? (Assets minus liabilities)
- What form does this net worth primarily take? (cash/real estate/company shares/securities/other)
- What is the primary source of your wealth? (business/salary/investment/inheritance/other)
- Can you prove your assets and source of funds with financial/tax records/contracts? (Yes/Partially/Difficult)
- How much CAD do you plan to invest in Canada?
- Which investment direction are you interested in: starting a new business or acquiring an existing one?
- What type of business would you like to start in Canada? (Prefer 1-2 industries)
- Do you have experience as a business owner or senior manager? For how many years?
- What was your highest-level role in the last 5-10 years? (Owner/Co-founder/CEO/GM/Department Head…)
- What was the approximate size of the business you previously managed, and how many employees did it have?
- What was the average annual revenue (estimated) of the business you previously operated?
- Can you provide documentation proving your management/business ownership experience? (business registration/licenses/tax reports/bank statements/contracts/payroll…)
- Are you willing to move to Canada full-time for 2-3 years to directly operate the business?
- If so, when do you plan to come and which province (Ontario/Nova Scotia/…)?
- Who is in the accompanying family? (spouse, children's ages)
