Algonquin College Bachelor's Scholarship Announcement - Fall 2026 Semester

Algonquin College has just announced an important update to its scholarship policy for 4-year Bachelor's programs applicable to the Fall/September 2026 intake. This is a great opportunity for high-achieving students planning to study at a Canadian university.

Under the new policy, scholarships are available for most four-year Bachelor's degree programs at Algonquin College, with the exception of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) and Bachelor of Information Technology programs in partnership with Carleton University.

Each eligible student will receive 1,000 CAD per semester, with a total scholarship value of up to 8,000 CAD throughout their studies.

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must have a minimum GPA of 8.0/10 (or 80%) in grades 10, 11, and 12, and meet all the entry requirements of the Bachelor's program they are applying for. From the second semester onwards, students must maintain a minimum GPA of 1.7 to continue receiving the scholarship.

Please note that this scholarship policy does not apply backward to students who have been or are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program before the implementation date.

If you are interested in studying in Canada at the undergraduate level for the Fall 2026 semester, want to choose a suitable major and maximize your chances of receiving a scholarship, contact KeyApply for detailed advice and comprehensive application support.
