This is an announcement regarding the selection of candidates for "Dragon's Den Season 18" in Canada, or Shark Tank in the US. This is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs and their startups to showcase and share their entrepreneurial journey with investors and audiences nationwide.

It's important to note that auditions for this 18th season will be held online or in the cities of Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, and Toronto. For local audition locations, you can find information about the location, dates, and times on the show's website. Applicants will be contacted starting in February to arrange audition schedules. Selected applicants will need to be available for 1 to 2 days to participate in filming in Toronto from May 1 to 23, 2023.

This selection program is only for applicants residing in Canada, and the founders must be residents or currently living in Canada.

The registration sessions will be held in English. If you wish to participate in the program in French, please check the program announcements for the next season.

The Manitoba Government website has updated the process for requesting a Letter of Support for Work Permit applications. Effective March 14, 2023, applicants must complete an online form and submit their request via email. Furthermore, requests must be submitted at least 90 days prior to the work permit being requested. If the request is approved, the Letter of Support for Work Permit application will be sent via email within 15 business days.

These students stated that they were scammed out of money by brokers who promised them they could study and work legally in Canada. However, upon arriving in Canada, they discovered they were not registered for studies and were placed in illegal jobs.

These students are awaiting a decision from the CBSA regarding their status. However, they are worried that they will be deported and unable to return to Canada in the future.

Meanwhile, the CBSA stated that it is investigating these illegal immigration brokering rings and will take measures to protect the rights of students and legal immigrants in Canada.

This is a concerning issue within the international student community in Canada and needs to be addressed quickly and fairly to avoid unfortunate consequences for students and Canada as a whole.
