JOB DUTIES AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Work involves foot care techniques within the scope of duties verified by the clinic, requiring appropriate training and hygiene protocols. The formal scope of work is confirmed in the job description and contract.
Priority is given to candidates with a nail/pedicure background and relevant experience. Specific descriptions of work performed and training certificates, if any, must be provided. Duties must not exceed the candidate's competence or permitted scope of practice.
WORK PERMIT AND IMMIGRATION GUIDANCE
The ability to support a work permit will be assessed based on the position, employer, and candidate's status. A job offer does not replace a work permit. High-wage/low-wage classification must be verified against salary levels and thresholds applicable at the time of LMIA submission; there is no guarantee of permit duration based solely on salary.
The C10 – Significant Benefit pathway is mentioned in initial recruitment information, but it is not an automatic LMIA exemption for every Foot Care Technician. An RCIC or lawyer must assess the basis for application for each specific profile. There is no commitment to a 2-year work permit; the job title and NOC must be cross-referenced with actual duties.
Immigration opportunities are assessed individually based on personal profiles and current programs. There is no guarantee of PR; policies, quotas, and selection criteria are subject to change.
APPLICATION PACKAGE
Prepare an English CV, details of relevant experience, certificates or portfolio if available, current place of residence, status and expiry date of current work permit, and your earliest available start date.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is a Foot Care Technician a Nurse?
No. This is a technical position registered separately from the Nurse Foot Care position. A foot care certificate or nail experience does not replace a CNO license for nursing practice.
Can candidates with a closed work permit change jobs?
You may submit your profile to find a suitable position. Before starting work for a new employer, you must obtain a permit or work authorization appropriate to your case.
Can a spouse apply for an open work permit?
Not automatically. Conditions depend on the occupation group, the type and duration of the permit, and family regulations in effect at the time of submission; individual assessment is required.
Does having a job offer or work permit guarantee immigration?
No. Recruitment, work permits, and permanent residence are separate processes; each profile must meet the requirements of the respective program.
KeyApply assists with recruitment connections and initial information preparation. Immigration files are handled by an RCIC or lawyer when necessary.
