KeyApply helps students find scholarships tailored to their target school, academic level, and profile, while calculating the remaining budget once support has been confirmed.
What to check?
- Does the scholarship accept applications from international students?
- Is the selection automatic, or is a separate application, essay, or interview required?
- Does the support apply to tuition only or also housing?
- Is it a one-year grant or renewable? What are the renewal criteria?
- Is the scholarship deadline earlier than the admission deadline?
Preparing your application
Submit your transcripts, English proficiency test scores, academic/extracurricular achievements, major, academic level, and intended intake. For graduate studies, include a CV, research interests, and relevant experience if applicable.
Do not assume that domestic scholarships or U.S. federal aid apply to international students. Only deduct scholarships from your financial plan once their eligibility is confirmed.
Scholarship sources by school
USF: Scholarships & Fellowships · ORU: International Financial Aid & Scholarships · New Haven: International Admissions
Example: USF Summer/Fall 2027 Scholarships
USF automatically considers freshmen for merit scholarships if they complete their application by January 15, 2027. Out-of-state tuition waivers are offered at a maximum of $11,000, $9,000, or $5,000 per year, depending on the award category. The number of awards is limited; waivers apply to out-of-state tuition fees only and do not cover housing or meals.
