This is the current stream linked to the federal Express Entry system. As of 18/02/2026, Nova Scotia Experience: Express Entry, Labour Market Priorities, and Labour Market Priorities for Physicians have been merged into this stream.
Skilled Work Experience in Nova Scotia
- At least 1 year of work experience in Nova Scotia in TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3.
- Age 21–55.
- Canadian high school credential or equivalent.
- CLB 7 for TEER 0–1; CLB 5 for TEER 2–3.
- Must have a valid Express Entry profile.
- If using work experience gained on a PGWP, you must have graduated from an educational institution in Nova Scotia.
Physician and Labour Market Priorities
Physician and Labour Market Priorities are now sub-criteria/selection pathways within Nova Scotia: Express Entry. Having an Express Entry profile does not guarantee selection by Nova Scotia.
EOI and fees
EOIs submitted from 01/05/2026 are valid for 12 months. From 01/09/2026, the worker application fee is 1,000 CAD when an EOI is selected for assessment; there is no fee for submitting an EOI.
