KEYAPPLY - IMMIGRATION INVESTMENT

How to choose the right Canadian immigration program

With so much information available about immigrating to Canada, deciding which program to choose has become quite challenging for many families.

KeyApply recommends that you choose based on the following criteria:

  1. The search criteria should be "most suitable program ," rather than "most relevant." The cheapest option is the most suitable one, while the cheapest option doesn't necessarily guarantee success!
  2. The program should be prioritized. Apply directly for Permanent Resident (PR) status . Temporary visa programs such as Student, Work, or Tourist visas are not preferred. Temporary visas lack a guaranteed pathway and prolong the process, increasing the risk.
  3. Priority should be given to those Federal programs are preferred. Provincial programs are not prioritized because the application process, which involves going through the provincial stage, takes longer, making it difficult to choose a desired place to live. Additionally, federal programs offer greater stability, are less prone to changes, or usually provide advance notice if changes occur. Provincial programs tend to change quickly and without prior notice.

Find the right permanent residency (PR) program:

Based on the above criteria, the following programs should be prioritized in this order:

Federal level:

Provincial level:

  • Provincial Skilled Workers: Currently, it is very difficult for foreign workers to access the workforce, as all provinces require that the job be recruited within the province. The high unemployment rate due to COVID-19 makes prioritizing domestic workers even more challenging.
  • Provincial investment: most involve lengthy, difficult, and expensive procedures and stages, such as proving financial capacity and assets, and only receive a work permit to start a business.
