Work Permit - Workers who already have an LMIA

KeyApply accepts work permit applications if you already have an LMIA or if your employer will apply for an LMIA for you.

Other costs not included:

• If necessary, the fee for obtaining an LMIA will be handled through another KeyApply service.

I have relatives who own businesses in Canada. If my relatives obtain an LMIA, will they be able to bring me over?

Workers recruited to Canada must demonstrate sufficient professional skills to meet the requirements of the position being advertised. Therefore, if you meet the skill requirements for the position for which your LMIA was granted, you can apply. Thus, whether you are a family member or not is less important than demonstrating to the visa officer that you meet the requirements.

Can nail technicians bring their spouses and children with them?

Nail technicians can apply for dependents to accompany them. However, depending on the circumstances, our immigration advisor or lawyer will advise you whether to apply at the same time or later.
