Renewing or replacing your Permanent Resident Card (PR Card)

Conditions for renewing or replacing a PR card:

You need to meet the following conditions:

1. Status of residence : Remains a legal permanent resident in Canada.
2. Residency period : Must have lived in Canada for at least 730 days (2 years) in the past 5 years. Time spent outside Canada may be included in some special cases, such as when traveling with a Canadian citizen or working for a Canadian company overseas.
3. Reasons for renewal/replacement : PR Card is lost, damaged, expired, or there is a change in personal information (e.g., name change).
4. No PR violations : No violations of residency conditions or involvement in illegal activities that affect PR status.

Fees are calculated based on actual working hours. The standard time for basic service is 3 working hours, including:

• Prepare all necessary documents.
• Instructions on how to submit your application and how to track your application status yourself.
• Answer customer questions within the scope of service.

Note regarding service fees:

• Service fees are calculated based on the work performed, not the outcome. Whether or not the application is approved rests with the Department for Immigration and Citizenship Services (IRCC).
• The service fee does not include government fees and other costs such as translation, notarization, photography, etc.
• Non-refundable fees and specific hourly rates will be announced according to KeyApply's current price list.
