🎓 History and Development

• St. Thomas Aquinas, or STA, is a Catholic high school in Brampton, Ontario. The school offers an arts program encompassing drama, dance, vocal music, instrumental music, and fine arts. It is one of two high schools with arts programs under the Dufferin-Peel Catholic Board of Education.

• St. Thomas Aquinas School moved to its current location at 25 Corporation Drive in 1992. The school sits on a 17-acre site. The three-story building provides 179,494 square feet of space. Some notable features of the building include a two-story chapel with a capacity of 100 people, a three-story forum and cafetorium, a two-story library resource center, and a triple gymnasium with six locker rooms. There are nine science labs, five computer labs, and facilities to offer a variety of technology programs, including Automotive, Construction, Media, Manufacturing, Hospitality, Electronics, Beauty, and Photography. Outdoor facilities include a 400-meter running track, a soccer field, three tennis courts, and a soccer practice pitch.

• Additionally, in 2001, 18 regular classrooms, a small theater, two staff offices, a new Fitness/Health Improvement room, a new Performing Arts room, and an English Media room were added.
