Since its founding in 1969, Holland College has been committed to providing the best quality programs and services to its students. Since opening in September of that year, the college has grown from 102 students to approximately 2,500 students, including 250 international students, across its five campuses. Each year, Holland College welcomes students of diverse ages and educational backgrounds to its university centers on Prince Edward Island. The College's degree and certificate programs have achieved international recognition for their combination of theory, competency-based and practical training, as well as a reputation for quality, innovative programs that continues to grow. Holland College's programs include practical, industry-oriented curricula that prepare students to confidently enter their chosen fields.
The Prince of Wales campus is the university's main campus. It houses the Charlottetown Centre, the Community Engagement Centre, the School of Performing Arts, the Centre for Applied Science and Technology (CAST), and two apartment-style residences. The Centre for Tourism and Culinary Arts, home to the Canadian Culinary Institute, is located near the Prince of Wales campus on the Charlottetown waterfront.

- Employment: 93% of the Class of 2013 were employed within one year of graduation. Holland College is a leading, internationally recognized institution for skills-based training.

- Athletics: Holland College's Hurricanes athletics team has won numerous regional and national titles. Students can participate in club sports and a range of recreational and in-school sports.
