Okanagan College is a public post-secondary institution in British Columbia with four main campuses in Kelowna, Penticton, Salmon Arm, and Vernon. The college serves approximately 20,500 students annually and is the second-largest vocational training institution in BC. It offers a range of degree, diploma, and certificate programs, as well as numerous university transfer and continuing education courses.

With a dedicated learning community and a relaxed atmosphere, Okanagan College is the perfect place for students to begin their journey to success. Many professors are actively involved in research and have had papers published worldwide – infusing classroom lectures with innovation and best practices that help students achieve academic success.

  • Campus life: Students can meet friends at the Kal View Cafe overlooking Lake Kalamalka or spend time studying diligently under the fig trees inside the library. They can also learn from the Okanagan-Silyx knowledge keepers in the Kalamalka Native Garden, where native plants support the healing, medicine, and traditional practices of the indigenous people.
  • Facilities: On-campus educational facilities provide a comfortable environment to focus on learning. The bustling Student Success Centre is a learning support center offering free tutoring. The Indigenous Services Centre connects students with key resources and support. The Bunker is a must-see: students work in the active letterpress printing workshop as part of the Writing & Publishing program and Kalamalka Press publications.
  • Practical Experience: Co-op work options provide students with opportunities to gain real-world experience while developing crucial communication and networking skills.
  • Small class sizes: Classes are small, with an average of around 19 students.
