It is a type of visa issued by the Immigration Department to foreigners through the electronic transaction system. Vietnam e-visa is valid once, valid for no more than 30 days.

Foreigners who are abroad and wish to enter Vietnam can directly apply for an electronic visa or through inviting or sponsoring agencies or organizations.

The electronic visa fee is paid via the electronic payment portal prescribed by the Immigration Department. The electronic visa issuance fee and electronic payment fee are not refundable in case the applicant is not granted a visa.

How long is the visa valid?

Vietnam visa is currently valid for 1 month or 3 months. If you need a longer period, you can refer to Vietnam Visa Exemption . The visa exemption certificate has the longest validity of 05 years and is shorter than the validity of a passport or foreign residence document of 06 months. Therefore, the passport requesting a visa exemption certificate must be valid for more than 6 months.
