Notification
The Private Career College Graduate Pilot was launched in September 2022.
Originally a three-year project, the pilot program has been extended to a limited scope until the end of 2026 to provide a potential pathway for international students enrolled in specific programs who were unable to graduate before the pilot's original end date.
Once the pilot program closes, no new nominations will be issued. Students who do not qualify or graduate after the pilot program closes are advised to explore other New Brunswick immigration programs/streams. Graduates with qualifying work experience and a job offer from a New Brunswick employer may be eligible to apply upon completion of their studies.
Overview
The New Brunswick Private Career College Graduate Pilot Program is designed for international graduates with the skills, education, and work experience to contribute to the New Brunswick economy, and who are prepared to live and work permanently in New Brunswick.
The pilot program aims to create immigration pathways for international students graduating from a number of one-year and two-year programs, leading to priority occupations in the following fields:
- Education and Social Development
- Style
- IT and Cybersecurity
- Business Administration
- Supply Chain and Logistics
This pilot program is for recent graduates from certain private career colleges in New Brunswick who do not qualify for the federal Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).
Students who do not qualify for the pilot program are advised to consider the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP). Students with qualifying work experience and a job offer from an AIP-designated employer may be eligible to apply upon completion of their studies.
