PEI PNP - Employment - PEI Express Entry

PEI PNP – PEI Express Entry

PEI can nominate candidates who have a valid IRCC Express Entry profile through the PEI PNP.

Key Requirements

• Meet the requirements of at least one federal Express Entry program: Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades, or Canadian Experience Class.
• Have a valid Express Entry profile and demonstrate a genuine intention to live and work in PEI.
• PEI prioritizes candidates who meet the province's economic and labor market needs.
• If holding a PGWP and graduated from an institution outside of PEI, or holding a spousal open work permit because a spouse has a study permit from an institution outside of PEI: must have at least 9 months of continuous full-time employment with an immigration-supporting PEI employer and at least 4 months remaining on the work permit when submitting an EOI.

Meeting Express Entry requirements does not guarantee that PEI will invite or nominate you. Selection priorities may change with each draw.

EOI and Selection

EOIs are valid for 6 months and do not guarantee an invitation. As of November 1, 2025, candidates who receive an ITA have 30 days to submit a complete application. PEI selects based on federal allocation, application volume, and labor needs. High-demand sectors are prioritized; sales and service may not receive ITAs at this time.

Workforce EOIs are free of charge; if invited to submit a Workforce application, the provincial fee is 300 CAD and is non-refundable.
