Application requirements
To apply for this program, you need to meet the following requirements:
- I have a full-time, non-seasonal, permanent job offer from an employer in PEI in the following occupations:
- NOC 33102 (Nurses, nursing assistants, and patient care staff)
- NOC 73300 (Truck Driver)
- NOC 75110 (Domestic workers and construction workers)
- NOC 65310 (Light cleaning)
- NOC 95109 (Other workers in the processing, manufacturing and utilities industries)
- NOC 75101 (Material Handling)
- NOC 94140 (Process and machinery control in food and beverage processing)
- NOC 94141 (Industrial butchers and poultry processors)
- Applicants must have at least one year of full-time work experience directly related to the job offered by the PEI employer.
- Between the ages of 18 and 59.
- Complete at least a high school diploma.
- Provide valid language test results from an IRCC-approved organization, with a minimum score of CLB/NCLC 4.
- You must have sufficient financial resources to cover all immigration costs (including travel expenses) for yourself and your family when settling in PEI.
- Demonstrate a genuine intention to settle in PEI.
How to Apply
- If you meet the eligibility criteria above, you should first read the Workforce Candidate Guide.
- Create a profile in the Prince Edward Island Expression of Interest system. You will need to provide a valid email address and identifying information, including passport details.
- Your profile will remain active for six months. You need to ensure that the information provided in your profile is accurate and verifiable.
