FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is a NUANS report mandatory when incorporating?

Not in every case. Requirements depend on the registrar, the type of registration, and whether a named or numbered company is used.

Is it necessary to open GST/HST and payroll accounts immediately?

Not necessarily. Registration obligations depend on revenue, type of activity, hiring, and applicable regulations.

Does incorporating automatically grant a Work Permit or PR?

No. Company registration and the eligibility requirements for work permits or permanent residency are separate issues that require individual assessment.
