Introduction and program types
Camosun College is a public college in British Columbia that accepts international students into various full-time programs. The college combines vocational training, academic studies, and practical experience, such as co-ops or internships in certain fields. Internship availability depends on the program and eligibility criteria; it is not a guaranteed benefit for all students.
Locations
There are two main campuses in the Victoria region: Lansdowne at 3100 Foul Bay Road and Interurban at 4461 Interurban Road. Your field of study determines the specific campus. The poster uses actual photos of the Business and Technology Centre at Interurban from the college website; these photos do not supersede the location stated on your letter of acceptance.
Academic programs
International students can explore programs in business, arts, science, computing, engineering technology, sports, health, and human services. The college also offers University Transfer, English language programs, and various short-term study options. The "All Programs for International Students" list may include online programs; you must select the appropriate delivery method that aligns with your study permit/PGWP goals. Do not assume that short-term ESL courses qualify for the PGWP.
Admission requirements
Applicants must meet general college requirements, specific program academic requirements, and English language proficiency standards. There is no universal IELTS score for all programs. Prepare your high school diploma, transcripts, any post-secondary documents, proof of English proficiency, and required translations. Health, engineering, or selective programs may require prerequisites, assessments, or additional documentation. The International Admissions department can provide a preliminary assessment of your file before you apply.
International tuition fees
The latest schedule is currently effective for September 2026–August 2027. For most Arts & Science, Business, Sport & Exercise, and University Transfer programs, the tuition for a 14-week semester is 6,274.25 CAD for 3 courses, 7,529.10 CAD for 4 courses, 8,783.95 CAD for 5 courses, or 10,038.80 CAD for 6 courses. For example, for two semesters with 5 courses each, tuition alone is 17,567.90 CAD; this is a calculation based on course load, not a flat college-wide tuition rate. The application fee is 100 CAD; the deposit is 9,700 CAD for open programs and 18,800 CAD for seated programs, which is applied toward tuition and subject to the refund policy. Student fees, insurance, co-op fees, books, and living expenses are calculated separately. Consult specific tables for other fields; do not use data from previous academic years for new cohorts.
Scholarships
The Camosun International Academic Advancement Scholarship considers the academic performance and community contributions of international students who have completed at least one full-time year in an academic program at the college. You must submit an application and meet specific criteria. This is not an automatic scholarship for new students and cannot be used as a basis to guarantee full tuition waivers.
Intake periods
Start dates and application windows vary between open and seated programs, as well as by field and campus. Check "International Admission Deadlines" and verify seat availability with the international department before paying fees. Some programs have waitlists. Do not consider the academic calendar or program list as confirmation that your desired intake is currently open.
DLI and PGWP
DLI: O19361235542; IRCC classifies Camosun as a public institution. Camosun maintains a list of PGWP-aligned programs to help you choose the right field. Cross-reference the degree name, CIP code, delivery mode, study permit timing, and current IRCC conditions before accepting an offer. Eligibility for the PGWP depends on your entire study process and individual requirements, not just the DLI. There is no guarantee of employment, PGWP, or permanent residency.
Application process
Select your international program, confirm academic/English requirements and costs, check deadlines and seat availability, and complete the application as instructed in Camosun's "Application Process." Submit all required documents and monitor for requests for additional information. Once you receive an offer, review the deposit conditions, payment methods, and deadlines, then obtain your LOA/PAL where applicable to apply for a study permit. Once approved, follow the instructions for course registration, insurance, and enrollment.
