A76 – IMP+: Open Work Permit for CSQ holders outside Québec
Intended for certain skilled-worker CSQ holders currently outside Québec who plan to move to live/work in Québec.
Key eligibility and conditions
- Hold a CSQ and an IMP+ work permit invitation letter from Québec.
- Reside outside Canada or in a province/territory other than Québec at the time of application.
- Meet residency requirements, submit online, and comply with intake caps.
Documents to prepare
CSQ, IMP+ invitation letter, passport, proof of residence, and a work plan in Québec.
Points to note
A CSQ alone is not enough. Do not apply at a port of entry; this does not apply to individuals currently residing in Québec.
LMIA exemption does not waive the requirement to meet work permit eligibility. Work permit and permanent residence applications are processed separately.
