Candidate selection and 2026 invitation rounds

BC prioritizes Care (health, education, childcare, veterinary), Build (construction trades), and Innovate (high economic impact). Meeting minimum criteria does not guarantee an invitation.

The September 24, 2026, Innovate round invited 426 candidates based on a salary threshold of $52/hour and $105,000/year for TEER 0–3 occupations; an additional 288 candidates were invited based on a minimum score of 131. These are criteria for specific invitation rounds, not fixed thresholds for future rounds.

Ineligible occupations include NOC 12100, 12101, 12200, 13100, 13110, 13111, 13112, 62010, 62020, 63101, 41302, and 42204. Candidates must cross-reference actual duties with the NOC, occupational categories, and employer prior to registering.

Skills Immigration application fee: $1,750 CAD; request for reconsideration fee: $500 CAD. IRCC fees and other service fees are separate.
