T10 – Open Work Permit for Québec investors

For investors who have received a Québec notice of intent to select from MIFI.

Key eligibility and requirements

• Hold a valid notice and intend to reside in Québec.
• Submit the application online within 6 months of the date the notice was issued.
• Meet the work permit issuance and admissibility requirements.

Required documents

Notice of intent to select, passport, investment records, and family documents if accompanying.

Points to note

OWP validity can be up to 36 months, depending on the passport. Do not apply at the port of entry.

LMIA exemption does not waive work permit requirements. Work permit and permanent residency applications are processed separately.
