NTNP – NWT Express Entry
A category under the Employer-Driven Stream for candidates with a valid Express Entry profile who meet federal requirements and hold a full-time, long-term job offer from an eligible NWT employer. Both the employer and the candidate must meet program guidelines before creating an EOI.
2026 Selection Rounds
The Employer-Driven Stream uses an EOI system and ranks candidates based on territorial criteria. Only invited employers may submit a full application. According to government announcements, the final draw for 2026 was scheduled for September 25, 2026, with an EOI submission deadline of September 22, 2026. These dates have passed; this is not a promotion for new candidates for that specific draw.
EOIs that are not selected are kept in the pool for up to 12 months. The 2027 selection schedule will be announced later. Having an EOI does not guarantee an ITA, nomination, or PR.
After Nomination
A nomination via Express Entry must be accepted within the federal application; candidates continue the ITA process and submit for PR as required by IRCC. A nomination does not automatically grant the right to work or an extension of a work permit.
