Special Opportunity for Temporary Residents

The 23-week Personal Support Worker (PSW) program is designed specifically for temporary residents in Canada, helping them improve their caregiving skills and enhance their career opportunities.

Course Information

  • Course duration: Starting on April 7, 2025 and ending on September 12, 2025 .
  • Training format:
    • Online theory course: 13 weeks. Online classes: 2 sessions per week.
    • On-site practical training: 2 weeks
    • Workplace internship: 8 weeks
  • Study location: 13 weeks online, and 2 weeks at Anderson College campuses.
    • Brampton campus :499 Main Street South, Suite 60, Brampton, ON L6Y 1N7, Canada
    • Hamilton Campus : 31 King Street East, Suite 100, Hamilton, ON L8N 1A1
  • Tuition:
    • Main tuition fee: $5,030 CAD
    • 20% scholarship for KeyApply customers , reducing tuition to $4,024 CAD .
    • Additional mandatory program fees: $1,840 CAD
    • Total cost of the study contract: $6,870 CAD
    • Total cost of the study contract after deducting scholarships: $5,864 CAD
    • Textbook costs are approximately $350 CAD (not included in the tuition fee above) .
  • Registration deadline: April 4, 2025 .

Registration Requirements

Due to complex immigration regulations, each case needs to be considered individually. Below is a guide to applying based on the type of work permit:

1. If you have an Open Work Permit issued after June 7, 2023:

  • Work permits must remain valid after September 12, 2025 .
  • If your permit does NOT contain the condition "Unless authorized, prohibited to attend any educational institution," you are eligible to participate.
  • Next step: Send an email to info@keyapply.com to begin the registration process.

2. If you have an open work permit issued before June 7, 2023:

  • The work permit must remain valid after the course ends.
  • Next step: Send an email to info@keyapply.com to complete the registration process.

3. If the work permit includes conditions that restrict education:

  • You need to contact KeyApply to confirm if you are eligible to enroll in the short-term program.
  • Next step: Send the confirmation document to info@keyapply.com to continue with your registration.

4. If you are an asylum seeker with an open work permit and are working with Better Jobs Ontario:

  • Contact us to receive an Acceptance Letter to support your sponsorship application from Better Jobs Ontario .

5. If you need a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL):

  • If you don't need a PAL and would like to receive an Acceptance Letter , please contact us.
  • If you need PAL , we are currently unable to support it.

6. If you already have Protected Person status:

    Chào bạn, nếu trong Closed Work Permit không có điều kiện cấm đi học, thì sẽ học được.
