NTNP – Business Stream
For entrepreneurs looking to establish, purchase, or invest in and actively manage a business in the Northwest Territories.
- Minimum investment of CAD 200,000 if the business is in Yellowknife; CAD 100,000 if outside Yellowknife.
- Generally requires at least 33.3% ownership of the business, unless the equity investment is at least CAD 1,000,000.
- Minimum net worth of CAD 500,000 in Yellowknife or CAD 250,000 outside Yellowknife.
- Minimum language proficiency of CLB/NCLC 4.
The Business Stream will continue to operate independently and on a first-come, first-served basis in 2026.
