You can apply for Permanent Residency nomination through the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) International Student Category if you graduated from a public college or university in Prince Edward Island. To be eligible to apply for the PEI International Student Category, you must:

Hold a post-secondary degree or certificate from a public college or university in Prince Edward Island.

Having a post-graduation work permit and legal status in Canada.

If working in a high-skilled occupation defined by the TEER (Training, Education, Experience, and Responsibility) classification system as type 0, 1, 2, or 3, you must demonstrate sufficient English and/or French language skills to perform the job by providing a Job Offer Form PEIW-02: Workforce Job Offer Form, showing that the employer is comfortable with your English and/or French language skills to perform the tasks related to the position being offered.

If working in an intermediate-level position, as defined by the Training, Education, Experience, and Responsibility (TEER) classification system as category 4 or 5, you must provide a legally recognized language test result from an IRCC-approved testing institution with a minimum score of CLB/NCLC 4. The language test result is valid for two years from the date of the test.

How to Apply
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you should follow these steps:

Create a profile in the Prince Edward Island Expression of Interest system, providing a valid email address and identifying information including your passport details. Once your account is verified, you can proceed to complete your profile. Applicants can only have one active profile at any given time.

Your record will remain active for a period of six months. You must ensure that the information in your record is accurate and verifiable. If your situation changes before you are invited to apply, you may update your record. If your situation changes after you are invited to apply, you must contact the Office with the updated information; this may affect the final decision on your record.

If you are invited to apply, complete the application forms and ensure your employer completes the employer's forms.

An Expression of Interest is not a nomination, but merely an expression of your interest in being considered for an application under the PEI Worker Category. The Office reserves the right to limit the number of applications or exclude individuals from the Expression of Interest selections.
